In the countryside and in an oasis of greenery, you find the hotel « Kasteelhof 't Hooghe » situated 3 km of the centre of Ypres. "Menin Gate House" is a charming holiday built in 1923 and completely renovated in 2011. It is the ideal base to explore Ypres and Flanders Fields. Staying in the house is a unique experience. One could not stay any closer to the Menin Gate. Ideally located, close to the town’s centers or as a base to explore the area. On foot you easily reach the outskirts of town through the town’s gates. By car or (motor)bike, the hinterlands is easily accessible. Putting up(motor)bikes safely is not a problem.
