Set in a monumental building in the centre of Ypres, Hotel Main Street offers spacious, design rooms with free Wi-Fi and large flat-screen TVs. It serves an extensive breakfast every morning. Each room comes with large box spring beds and luxurious duvets. Guests benefit from a Nespresso coffee machine, a DVD player and free choice of DVDs. Some of the rooms have a whirlpool, a terrace or a flat-screen TV in the bathroom. Guests can enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet including smoked salmon, freshly baked croissants, local cheeses and organic jams. For dinner, several restaurants are located in the nearby area of Main Street. The bar has a relaxing area to read a book or magazine. It offers a selection of cold beverages, light food or afternoon cakes. For warm days, a colourful terrace-garden is available. Ypres’ shopping area is within 5 minutes’ walking of the hotel. Ieper Open Golf Club is 2.2 km away.

A basket filled with surprises and a fridge full of tasty refreshing drinks will be welcoming you on your arrival. Moreover, you will find some nice presents, flip-flops for the sauna, some showering products and bed and bath linen in each room.

The personalised “kabinet” bathrobes can be used during your stay.

"Menin Gate House" is a charming holiday built in 1923 and completely renovated in 2011. It is the ideal base to explore Ypres and Flanders Fields. Staying in the house is a unique experience. One could not stay any closer to the Menin Gate. Notes of the daily Last Post Ceremony carryinto the beautifull rooms and bring you in the atmosphere of World War 1.
